I'm bored so here's a little story behind the art:
Ever since the fall of Earth and the loss of the spotlight, Shay hates any form of light. She hates the stars, the moon, even the sun. Especially the sun. She breaks or destroys anything she sees that gives off light, fighting the memories of her time in the spotlight. She shattered a light bulb, the glass embedding itself into the palms of her hands, but she doesn't feel the pain. Not anymore. The sun serves as a painful reminder of the star she used to be, it's warm light too much like the spotlight she used to relish in.
She wishes there was some way to destroy it. To turn it black. To plunge the world in darkness. "If I can't have my spotlight back, then no one should be allowed to enjoy the light since mine was stolen from me" is her mentality. She's seen better days, having lost the motivation to take care of herself, her thoughts almost always occupied with fantasies of turning the sun to a dark star, sending the world into eternal darkness, and ridding herself of the mental agony it causes her
