Hello, I'm back with yet another devlog! As you can see from the title it's nearing the end....of devlogs. Basically, I am almost finished with stage 7 of the game, which means that after this it's only cutscenes and tons of bug-testing left. This will take a few months though so beware of that.
Basically, the game is still not that close to completion, but the main storyline and the base game is actually almost finished. The second boss in stage 7 is easy to create (and yes, I actually mean that for once, it's very easy to create) and the last boss is most likely the thing that's gonna take the longest time, but I don't wanna make devlogs about that since that would be major spoilers. :P
By the way, I have thought of and discussed the prospect of making this game cost 2 dollars instead of 1. This game has taken like 4 years to make at this point and after properly assessing the contents of the game I feel like that's a better price point. Then again it's still up for debate and I 100% do not want people to feel like I scammed them for their money. I do want to make a good game after all believe it or not!
Some more news focused more on the cover art of the game: I still am not very satisfied with how it looks since I ended up basically just using assets from the game itself. So another cover art is being made! The finalized design and the cover art itself is still being discussed so I won't share more details than that. :)
Also, another thing (yeah I don't actually have a lot to say about the game at this point since it's nearly finished), I'll add some mini-cutscenes in between levels. I am also gonna add some more subsections to many of the already existing levels since I do want the game to be a little longer than it already is.
I have also actually tested the game as it is right now, it takes about an hour to 2 hours to complete as it is. So I'm quite satisfied with that! :)
