Tutorial Level Design

After a few work weeks on my personal vacation, the Tutorial level has been 90% blocked out. Save for some walls and ceilings, it it mostly complete.

The next step will be adding in the scripts and triggers for tutorial events like enemy spawning, control unlocks and helpful UI events for instructions on how to use the controls. Sadly, this level design will not be as effective as intended until certain UI features are added as some of the parkour movements are not very intuitive if one is not used to them. But as soon as the level is complete “enough” with the scripting, I will release it so I can get some feedback on the new mechanics of movement.

I am hoping for the next playable release of a level to be sometime in
February if all goes according to plan. Stay Tuned!

We are under attack!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

Made my first ever animation.

Hi all, Quick update with a bunch of fixes and changes.

Updated save system, optimisation and screen tear fixes, a new shoutout room and more sounds.

Enjoy!

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?

I remade my main character, what do you think? :)
