he is still half-there.

his mind is intact but he cannot control his actions, other than low levels of movement in the non-covered arm.

the leaves and flesh of the strawberry fruit have slight spots of rot from not having access to sunshine, water and just healthy things in general.

i’d imagine most of the twisteds are in constant pain but cannot feel it unless their minds are intact.

So, Sprout can feel everything happening in his body and see what it does. He can feel the pain and is quite aware of the breathing problem due to the ichor soaking into his lungs.

main drawing there is kinda back view, with one scarf end twisted around the other which trails against the ground. and the other half of his face (covered in ichor) has a big month with large chompers(teeth), it is actually fully functional and is the main reason the ichor could get into Sprout’s trachea/windpipe and into his lungs; that also spread into his bloodstream which is why he is now mainly ichor, apart from his head and a single arm.

The ichor is staining the floor beneath him as it refuses to settle into a hard material, instead being closer to oobleck; goopy until force is applied, where it strengthens.
