alone on the hill, gazing to the stars
Thinking back to the years, thinking of the scars
Struggles and all that still burdens you
Makes it all difficult to always push through

Yet here you are
Looking up to the star
In your heart a faint hint of hope
And suddenly past you a giant bird swope
A phoenix, a faint ghost glimmering in white
Dashing toward that star with all its might
.
It is you, your hope, your story
And in it's faint glory
The phoenix finally reaches the goal
With the star it merges, becomes whole
.
It burns bright in flames now
And despite having been so low
You step forward, reaching out your hand
That phoenix will be your mark, your brand
It comes from the inside
Even if it seemed faint in the first sight
The Phoenix and you have the potential
Simply being put through a tough trial
It seems to show no end
But along time most wounds mend
And you'll be able to carry on
