Good Day everyone, welcome to our Second Devlog for Underswap: Reimagined. We have quite a bit to discuss, so let's get straight into it!
Writing and Concepts
Since the last devlog, a lot has changed concept and writing wise. Portfolios on locations and characters have been worked on between me, @Inkerstinker, @Salocinick , and @therustysfm .
So far, we've divided the regions in Underswap Reimagined like this:
The Waterways is the Ruins replacement, seperated into two areas, a ruined wasteland, and a gated community that is ancient.
Amber Woods/Amber Cliffs is the Snowdin replacement, with you transversing hot humid cliffs into an autumn like forest, eventually meeting the town of Fallin, where festivals are aplenty!
The Underground Amazon is the Waterfall replacement, where crime is bountiful, robots around every corner, and monsters that want to be free and feel like they're on the surface reside.
Technopolis is the Hotlands replacement, where Technology is the main game, and the environment is as cold as it'll ever get. Maybe you'll stumble across the HEART on your way to the Queen...
Everything else Location wise is still in works/being considered.
Character Wise we have had not nearly as much on the table, and most is still under consideration. However there is a major change we have applied to the characters. While they may remain extremely similar personality wise, they will have other traits that make them stand out due to different histories and environments.
For Instance, Asgore may still be a calm, gentle giant, but he's a lot more stubborn and tough, meaning you may not want to get on his bad side. He may at first come off as optimistic, but that may all be a façade...
Spritework and Artwork
Sprites have for the most part gone in a smooth and orderly fashion. We are still in the early stages of sprites, and don't have any solid grounds on main character sprites.

Scrapped Overworld sprite for Asgore made by Ex-Team member Pakerino.
Rough Sprite for Sans made by @Salocinick . It most likely will go unused.
There hasn't been much scrapped content sprite wise, huge shoutout to @_pancakez for joining the team as our new overworld sprite artist. They've done a really good job so far.
On the Artwork side of things, @sTadz has done a PHONEMANAL job when it comes to concept sketches, such as these:

Besides that, not much other departments have major progress. We are still looking for a dedicated coder who'd like to lend a hand in the possible future.
