Update 1.0 released!

Today is a big day! Today is the release day of the 1.0 update of Marieta! After nearly half-year since the release of the initial public version, big changes are packed in this update.

Thing to say, that I had planned a version 0.10.1, but It was discarded. Mainly because I did not like the menu system that I initially created. I decided to remake the menu and release it as 1.0 instad of 0.10.1.

Here's the list:

- New menu system

- New Credits screen

- New How To Play screen

- New item: Inline Skates! Makes you move faster but also gives you protection against the spikeballs

- Now the spikeballs can appear in groups

- Confirmation screen when deleting the savedata

- The score number now adds the numbers 1-by-1 instead of all-in-once.

- The current score number in the Game Over screen now slowly decreases when playing again.

- Now MacOS builds are universal (32 and 64 bits simultaneously, I think...)

I've been doing tests of WebGL builds (to play in the browser directly). I don't want to promise anything about when I'm going to publicly release it or where it's going to be playable. But everything related to WebGL is a work in progress.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Alone Together....
