I've also decided to release the game's MFA, seeing as @MrMalos
has released the MFAs for some of his games.
Important for Android users:
You'll have to uninstall the game before installing the update if you have v1.0 already installed on your device. That's because the keystore file has been changed to a newer one, as v1.0 was built with an old keystore file that I don't have anymore.
Changes:
Replaced the old Game Jolt API by Uppernate with the newer one by Yunivers.
Unfortunately, the Remember Me option had to be removed, as it would make the game crash with a C++ error once reaching the main menu if automatic login was enabled, which would make the game unplayable unless you edit your save file to turn off automatic login (on Windows) or deleting app data (on Android).
Additionally, a credit for it has been added to the credits.
Added a tutorial before starting Normal Mode.
As this game's phone call doesn't talk about the animatronics' mechanics, adding this was necessary, since one person told me about that after this game first release a while ago.
(Android only) Sleep prevention is now turned on when opening the game.
(Android only) Changed reset sava data button to now read "Tap and hold here to reset save data".
(Android only) Added an aspect ratio toggle.
The game is no longer always stretched, you can now play either in 16:9 with black bars, or stretched like before.
(Android only) Subtitles and edit boxes now use the actual Consolas font.
Changed GJAPI log in text font to Consolas.
This was done because the 5 Computers in Love font doesn't work on Android.
(Android only) Now uses the NativeSound sound engine.
Additionally, a credit for that has been added to the credits.
(Windows only) Updated DRPC messages.
For example, when starting a night, the DRPC will now show "Starting Normal/Hard Mode" instead of "Normal/Hard Mode, Starting the Night", and during a night, the word "Playing" has been added before "Normal/Hard Mode".
(Windows only) Converted all sound files to OGG.
The sound files were already OGGs on the Android port, so it wasn't necessary to do that for it. This was just done to slightly reduce the game's file size on Windows.
Removed the exit button from the main menu.
You now exit the game from the main menu by pressing Esc on PC, or the back button on Android.
(Windows only) Hovering over buttons now changes the cursor to a hand icon, and hovering over the edit boxes on the log in menu changes the cursor to a text icon.
This is a thing that I started doing with The Return to Bonno's, so I'm adding this feature to this game as well.
Scrolling is now smoother.
Meaning, the screen now doesn't immediately stop scrolling if the screen is at the far left or the far right, or if your cursor is not over the invisible scroll objects.
The perspective effect is now a shader instead of an object.
With this change, the perspective now looks better and smoother.
Additionally, a credit for that has been added to the credits.
Updated subtitles to be like my newer games made after this one.
The subtitles are now on the top of the screen instead of on the bottom, the black transcluent bar has been removed, sounds for ringing, picking up and hanging up are now captioned, and they no longer type letter by letter.
This also fixes the visual bug where the transcluent bar would stay visible after the call ends if they were enabled, since it has been removed.
Added "What's this?" button below the Game Token field on the log in menu, which shows how to get your game token, and the error message now makes the text red.
Removed mechanic explanations from the Game Over screen.
As there's now a tutorial before starting Normal Mode, having the mechanics being explained on the Game Over screen is no longer necessary.
(Windows only) Added a credit for the DRPC object to the credits.
(Android only) Readded the selection blinking squares to menu buttons (main menu, extras menu, options menu and Game Over screen).
Bug Fixes:
(Android only) Fixed a bug where the perspective would disappear when getting jumpscared with vibrations turned on.
This is a thing that I somehow missed during testing.
