Update 1.6.1 is out!


This minor update fixes an error with the subtitles toggle, removes old code that prevented the new subtitles system from working properly on Android, and removes a feature that was causing some strange bugs.

Time to get burnt out with people finding bugs for me to fix.

Changes:

  • (Android only) Removed leftover old subtitles code from the old versions which I forgot to remove.

  • Removed the pause menu.

    It was working perfectly on PC, however on Android, pausing the game during a phone call causes it to continue playing, or ends up skipping to the next line.

    Because of that, the pause menu has been replaced with an exit button, where holding Esc (on PC) or the button with an arrow (on Android) will quit the night and take the player to the main menu.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed the "Remember Me" option in the log in screen not working.

  • Fixed the log in message in the log in screen being invisible.

  • Fixed an error with the subtitles toggle where they would turn on when actually off, and vice versa.

I went to look at some old Discord DMs with one of my friends and found these screenshots.

@Sim_Naum has finished recording all calls, they are now in the game.

The subtitles for them are also finished, and now here's a preview of the Night 1 call.
