Update #3: StoneMan and more!

Hey all,

Been a while, eh? Almost exactly a year!

Before we get started—no, this game is not canceled, yes, I’m still working on it, but no, I’m not releasing the next build today.

The good news is, expect it soon!

Today I’m sharing some screenshots of StoneMan’s completed stage. Much like the original one in MegaMan 5, it’s long, slightly tedious, but not too difficult. StoneMan himself also retains a very similar AI pattern from his NES counterpart. However, I was unable to replicate his Power Stone attack—so instead, I made it so that every time he lands from a jump, four boulders will “splash” out of him, causing the player moderate damage. Hopefully you MegaMan 5 purists out there won’t be too disappointed!

In addition to StoneMan’s stage, expect to see a few new playable characters as well. So as not to spoil you too much, one of them is a certain racer with a sweet punch attack, and the other one is a certain magical horse. More characters are set to be added in addition to them as well!

Stay tuned, guys!
