[NEW UPDATE] A 2D Space Sim Game

UPDATE.

Hey everyone, Speng again here!
It’s been a decent amount of time since the last devlog for this game- longer than I intended- but this one will fill you in on what’s been going on.

Short story short, I was originally going to be taking a break from the game to focus on my exams which started a week ago anyway, after I released the second build of the game (originally planned for 2 days after the… event). As a result, work on this game has been basically ground to a halt since I had to take a couple weeks to study for my exams. Nevertheless, they end on Friday this week (8/12/17), where I will have lots of time again to spend on the game.

And, I have a Christmas break coming up for 2 weeks in which I will have an awful lot of time to get stuff done, so the future is exciting for this game.

In further news, the rebuild will be done in C# instead of JS as used previously, as I feel it is a smarter decision in the long run. Don’t worry about any delays as a result of me learning a new language, I’ve already caught up to speed by working on a couple small games I knocked out over the weekend, so the pace of development should be just as quick as before.
