Hi, it's me again. Unfortunately, I have some bad news regarding the demo release.

My original intention was to have it out on the same day that UNDERTALE celebrates its 10th anniversary. Sadly, this kind of feat is not going to be in the cards for us. Things came up at the last minute in testing, and on top of that, school has started (or about to start) again for all of my helpers.

It's a huge rush to the finish if I were to stick to the original deadline, and I'll be unavailable to work for the last few days if that were the case. Given the erratic schedules across all of us, it's not going to be possible to get this ready for you in time.

So when is the new release date?

Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer for that yet. My secondary plan was to release this on the same day that DELTARUNE was first released, which was Halloween (October 31st), but I'm not so sure about that either. So as one final attempt, I will say that the demo will come out, at the very latest, in December.

I am sorry for all of the inconvenience this causes, but I simply cannot release something that doesn't fit up to our standards yet. There is loads more testing that needs to be done, and we can't do it in the remaining time period that we once had.
