First of all, the game is still in Alpha, and that's a good thing as a few very extreme crucial bugs have been found and fixed in the past few weeks.
If you wanna try the alpha please go to https://phantasar-productions.itch.io/star-story. Why is the alpha not on GJ. Simply put because Butler is the better tool to make that many updates on bugfixing as an alpha version can expect me to give. Once the game enters the beta, the game will also appear on Game Jolt.

I am currently setting up some ideas for Star Story II. Now in chronological order, this story is gonna take place about 60 years prior to the events in Star Story I, so before Wendicka and Crystal were even born (and even their parents were born for that matter).
Her full name is Gavida Klahré. Please note, she is a Vertigan and in the Vertigan naming system the surname comes first and then the given name(s). This means that when you are on first name terms with her you should call her Klahré. (Pronunciation "Klah" in which the "a" is pronounced as in "dance" in UK English, and "ré" is pronounced as "ray". Don't ever call her "Clairie" as she will take that as a major insult).
Klahré is gonna be Star Story II's main protagonist. She is a scientist. To be more precise she is a famous virologist throughout the entire I.F. (Interplanetary Federation). She has a very nerdy and businesslike attitude, but she does have a softer social side which she tries to hide.
Her male assistant (whom I hope to reveal later) does have a crush on her, but she keeps telling him "no".
And yes, with that it's also the case that Star Story II does not only have a female protagonist, but also an alien for a protagonist.
Now it's not yet official that Star Story II is gonna happen. I do have a bit of a start, and I also agreed with myself about the final boss of the game, and the special abilities of the main party (in which Klahré will most of all be a character for the more tactical use), but in what happens in between I am still thinking about a lot of things. Just like its predecessor, the game will be more combat based than exploration based, and center around a central point (like Star Story I centered around your ship The Hawk) rather than cities like a classical RPG would do. The combat system will however be similar to the one used in The Fairy Tale REVAMPED, which is also a reason why Star Story 2 may take awhile, as that game is currently in remake, just as Star Story, however script-wise SS2 will have a lot in common with TFTR, and that can make it more easy for me to combine the projects if need be. I hope I can get the story line in order. Since the game is in a too premature state (all I have are a few concepts, right now) I didn't yet give it its own page, neither on itch nor on GJ. There is a (hidden) github repository, but that now only serves to store a few pre-project files, rather than serious code. If Star Story II is gonna happen, I will do it once again with the Apollo engine, just like Star Story I's remake and The Fairy Tale REVAMPED's remake. It should be cool to have a brand new game with this engine and not just remakes, eh?
