Hey guys, as far as you can see, there hasnt been any recent updates on the project this year. This post isnt going to be made as excuses but rather just to clear why certain things are taking a bit too long.

This was something that I didnt want to put out but rather AFTER the game was finished, in case it wasnt obvious enough, it is mostly to do with wanting to move away from FNAF.

FNAF is a franchise I have basically stuck to for 8 years now, going through multiple life changing events revolving around it. The problem is with growing up with such a massive franchise is how unorthodox it is compared to growing up and maturing like everyone else.

When it comes Five Nights at Freddy's, the negative memories completely outweigh the positive ones. A lot of people usually don't like to admit its true, but it is: Undealt trauma from your adolescence affects you a lot in adulthood. And it is weird to admit that I have traumatic memories from a horror franchise about cartoon animals, but it has contributed to my anxiety issues and trying to get the game done.

A lot of these traumatic memories come from my harsh interactions and treatment from others in the FNAF community, I am definitely much more able to deal with these interactions if they occurred if I were an adult. But being a young teenager on the internet and being incredibly vulnerable, it's much easier to be the target of abuse. And it can scar you for years.

Then with the whole drama that occurred during 2024, it really hit the nail on the coffin with my anxiety. I'm so tired of bringing this up, that I literally know the only way to properly move on is just to accept and move on from this franchise.

I initially wanted to make this game due to my initial passion for fnaf, but now I see where I want to go: I want to make this game as a tribute for being a fan for so long and moving on.

I definitely want to continue game development after this project, but have nothing to do with FNAF.
