This time there is something brand new among ( ඞ ) the patch notes.
Due to an exploit allowing players to skip practically every night with no cameras I implemented a special mechanic to weaken this strategy. A door overload. While I think it's super cool that people outplayed the system, it became very boring seeing everyone play like that.
I hope it won't affect other aspects of the game. If it does please leave your feedback and I will try my best to adjust it.
Not a lot of other changes. I plan to revamp the docs and tips in 1.0.3 to make all mechanics a bit more clear.
v1.0.2
NEW:
- Door Overload: After 30s of the door being closed its usage raises drastically over time. Opening the door removes stacked usage value and decays gradually through 15 seconds.
BUGFIXES:
- Fixed a flashlight and sleep mode indicators breaking on some resolutions
- Fixed sleep mode indicator staying on screen after the power goes out
- Fixed a bug where the camera could not move after SCP-049 forced you out of the monitors
- Fixed a bug where "X" would wake the PC up even though it's locked out by SCP-1048
- There are instances where 860-2 can rarely kill through closed doors. I took some measures to try to prevent that but so I did last time... Hope it's fixed now.
- Fixed a bug where "AM" would appear instantly in the tutorial instead of fading in
- Nerfed Chimken Tactics
CHANGES:
- Min wait time for SCP-860-2 on high AI levels has been raised: 2s -> 2.75s
- To make a fan icon on cameras more in line with a flashlight and sleep mode indicators it now reduces transparency when off
- Slightly increased 'blindness' time frame while putting on the mask where entities are able to progress
- Corrected a hitbox of an input field in a certain secret application and added its visual representation
- Added a button in the Options Menu to reset the burnt notes and their contents without the need to wipe the save file (available only after acquiring all notes)
- You can now reset your achievements in the Achievements Menu
