Hi everyone! It's been a little over a day since The Perfect Update has launched, and it's been looking great so far! For the most part it's looking like everything is great and balanced, and its just a matter of fixing some smaller bugs (which is what this patch is for!) and adding a feature or two...and a rework. More on that in a second. For now, here's the changes for v1.2.0.1:
Fixed a bug where Funtime Foxy's knocking noise would incorrectly pan to the left or right after switching from Perfect Mode to the base game.
Fixed a bug where Ennard would not leave the door if his AI was below 20.
Fixed a bug where Ballora and Ennard's intervals would desync over time if their AI was below 20 (AI 20 is unaffected).
Fixed a bug where Perfect OMC would not cut the power if 6 AM arrives and the required fish was not met.
Fixed a bug where playing Hyper Golden Freddy All Challenges would overwrite any stats for Hyper Golden Freddy.
And there we go! Some smaller bugs have been worked out and now onto the next subject: info on upcoming patches!
There are two patches that are planned to come out over the course of the next two weeks. The first patch, v1.2.1, is going to cover the only universally disliked part of Perfect Mode: Old Man Consequences. His mechanic has not been particularly popular and its for good reasons, so despite The Perfect Update being public, I've decided to go ahead and completely rework the character once more. The mechanic is planned out and is going to focus more on reactions like the rest of the mode and less on effectively being a metronome. I'll be releasing an updated OMC character teaser that explains his new mechanic within the week, and soon after that you will be able to try it yourself!
Next up, v1.2.2 is gonna have a pretty neat and potentially helpful feature: custom keybinds! OMC currently has a temporary setting for catching his fish, but this will be replaced in v1.2.2 with the ability to switch any of the keybinds to any key or mouse button you like! This one will likely take a bit long than the OMC rework since I'll need to rework a lot of code to make it happen, so the two changes are split up into two separate patches so that OMC can be addressed as soon as possible.
