Update v1.2 is coming soon™! Introducing a LOT of things!


Hi everyone! Now that the trailer has gone public, you now have a small taste of what's to come! There's a lot to cover, and I've decided to summarize and expand upon the stuff mentioned in the trailer, as well as list some things that weren't showcase! There's a lot to cover, so let's get it going!

Night Modifiers Menu

Starting off, the Cheats & Challenges menu has been reworked and renamed into the Night Modifier menu! It's essentially the same menu, however the distinction is that Hyper Mode has been separated from the rest of the challenges, given that its far more unique compared to the rest of the challenges.

Point values and the like are the same, and functionally the Challenges work the same (so yes, Hyper Golden Freddy is still really hard).

FPS Settings

Next up, one of the more substantial features incoming is the ability to increase the FPS to up to 360 frames per second! This should allow for smoother gameplay for those who's monitors allow it. Everything is properly adjusted to work with the new FPS values, so don't worry about any crazy changes depending on the FPS.

It's so smooth. :D

Background Music Introduction

This one is a smaller quality of life that shows the name of the music playing at the start of the night. Nothing crazy but its a fun addition just because. It can be toggled in the options menu.

Auto Reset on Death

Another substantial change is something that was exclusive to FNAF 1 SCN for quite a while...until now! With a simple toggle in the options menu, on death you will automatically start the night over. No more waiting for things to load every time if you wish to quickly grind a given night! It will give you your stats when you start the night once more. The stat also displays if you manually reset the night too!

Old Man Consequences Rework

There are a few other balance changes to be found in this update, but this one is definitely the biggest one. Old Man Consequences has been changed substantially, starting with his UI, it now properly gives a tutorial that shows you can also click on his window to catch the fish. This was already in the game, but the UI now properly explains the existence of this mechanic.

Next and more importantly, the fish now starts directly left or right instead of being random. This should reduce the RNG that he had where depending on where the fish spawned you could have more or less opportunities to catch the fish. OMC also waits until you have had your last opportunity to catch the fish before locking you out of the cams. Should be a lot more fair now!

Finally, Old Man Consequences now has an extra change in Hyper. The fish is faster. :)

Power Leaderboards

On to something that wasn't showcased in the trailer, leaderboards for the amount of power left in each of the respective challenges will be introduced! Show off your cool greenrunning skills and save the planet...and stuff!

I don't know I just thought it was cool.

And so much more!

Bug fixes, balance changes, more tweaks and improvements, and more are to be found in this update. Hopefully this is thorough enough and was also worth the wait! Everyone will still have to wait a touch longer for this update as some smaller stuff still needs to be worked out, but it hopefully won't be long!

Anyway that's everything! Back to work and to fix stuff!
