This is actually one of the smaller updates this game will get, and it adds in the option to have lives.
Pretty self-explanitory, if you enable this in the options menu, it gives your character 3 lives. That means you can get hit three times, but you die after the third.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
