Update ver. 1-16-2025


Stage Select progress, did someone order that? :D

I've newly discovered the Grid Layout Group component, which will save me A LOT of headdesking. And the stage slots align, too! I'll just need to figure out how to scale down stage select icons when the grid's full (and Up when I have only a handful of stages)!

This'll also save time on the Fighter Select's development as well! And with this system, the rosters can be expanded as I work on content!

I give you 3 flavours: No Stage, Peach's Castle, and TEST.

Also gotta check why the SSBF logo stretches and not the Mario one! The Test stage no longer looks like that either lmao.

The back button works (by pressing B for a while!). Gotta code pressing A on top of it.

All that remains in the meat of this screen's development is adding the My Music lists.

Shout out to the YT channel Mix and Jam for helping me figure this out! All I did was swap the Graphic Raycaster with my own Raycast, which actually works lol

Also, a huge update throughout the game: I've officially switched UI text to TextMeshPro. It comes out much cleaner, and its Presets feature is super-neat.

Also, special tip that will prevent you guys smashing your keyboards like I ALMOST did: don't check your Raycast's "RaycastHit results" object without using "out RaycastHit *name*" like I stupidly did for over an hour! lol
