Okay, I've kept you waiting long enough.
I've been having a little difficulty developing this screen lol.
So I've made some changes.
The 2 buttons on the bottom right aren't coded yet, but they're exactly what you think they're for. Adding/Removing players.
The Back button works, you can switch between "Feud" (free-for-all) and "Team Battle". The top bar will also feature a button to go to the Rules menu and will display captions like in Melee and Brawl (example "2-minute battle")
Mario's icon can be hovered over, but I haven't yet perfected the code to select him for the match.
But the had part is those darn player cards on the bottom. I had the hardest time associating them to connected players lol. But now, I can properly turn the cards ON and they will automatically go to "CPU" if that player doesn't have a gamepad (so you can't set them to Human).
Once the icons are worked out, once you hover over them, your player's card will automatically turn on, set to Human.
Thankfully I think most of the hard stuff is done, so it's only a matter of time.
Where it says "Player 1" on the bottom of the card, I intend to bring back the Names feature, where you enter a player name (like "KoldVirus" for me for instance)
In Feud, I won't have your player name show up on the HUD in place of your fighter's name. Instead, I'll make it so it replaces your player indicator on-screen (the arrow with "P1" for instance on it), and I'll make a new spot on the HUD for your player handle.
That's it for now, but hopefully I should have something else soon, right?
