Update version 2.2.0 will be distributed within the next 24 hours. This update adds support for Splatfests as well as a new stage! The full change log can be found in the article. Attached is some gameplay on the new stage.

  • Added a new stage - Dapper Dam!

  • Drastically updated the layout of Mahi-Mahi Resort.

  • Added an option to disable the Opening sequence.

  • Fixed an issue in the Tutorial where playing it multiple times in one session would cause the example enemy to render incorrectly.

  • Added basic data relating to Splatfests. Grand Festival Specific data will be added in the next planned update.

  • The damage dealt by all enemies has been doubled. This change was made due to the game becoming easier with changes that have improved performance and healing. Further changes may be made if it is found that this makes the game feel unfair.

  • As compensation, you will now start healing faster than before after taking damage.

There are still some issues with update data being investigated that should be fixed before the release.

Splatfests are juuust about ready, which means Not Splatoon's first Splatfest can be our own Grand Festival! This Splatfest will be the most impactful, with LIAN from Hydrodrive saying: "Folk around here are buzzing, they know it means life or death."

Ignore music

This is Hydrodrive, one of the bands that perform music in Cirriton Bay. Despite having four members, their drummer didn't show up to this photoshoot, instead working on a beat that eventually turned into "Sea's The Limit." We've uploaded a preview here.

All issues pertaining to ink color appear to be fixed, which means it's now easier than ever to add new color combos. Open for suggestions anytime.
