SMALL DEV UPDATE

Hey all! Just popping in to give a preview of the final game's sprites! Demo progress is going well, but we're putting effort into the full game's art assets at the moment. Just to have it all ready, y'know.

The image shows off Phase 1 and 2, as well as the first ever preview of Ashen Papyrus's design!
Ashen Papyrus is just the name I personally gave him. Technically, its just a phantom Papyrus design. But different due to lore reasons. He won't have a speaking role and how he's formed will be explained in the comic.

Anyways, story wise, I've currently written past the Snowdin encounter comic wise. Once I've written the full story in the format I'm writing it in, I'll be working with the comic team to trim it down to a more digestible form for a comic.
There will be original battle tracks done for the three encounters currently planned to appear in the comic. Once the full game and comic are complete, we may potentially make these into game form, but that's a very VERY long away.

Let's start out with some fanart from the fanart section of our Discord! I've only picked three for this one, but more may be shown in the future!

Here's an AMAZING traditional piece of Phase 2 by @JMNSky , absolutely love seeing some phase 2 art. Phase 1 is the poster boy but phase 2 is, well...you'll have to wait for the game lmao

Next up, showing off some projects done by members of our community!

First off, UNDERTALE: Inherited Destinies by @Fruits-N-Loops ! This game is a reimagining of the traditional Dusttale AU that involves multiple characters from across classic Undertale as main antagonists instead of revolving around just Sans. Go check it out, it has massive potential!

Next up, DUSTSWAP: The Reckoning by team member @Epic_Gamer011! This is a take on Canon!Dustswap that centres around Sans and deeper explores his descent into madness. Both myself and Stellar are also on the team for this one, so expect an absolute banger of a time. First encounter is already fire as fuck ngl.

Now, UNDERTALE: Dusted by @CarlitosJr ! A new take on Dusttale and a few other AUs that involves Flowey having enough of the player's RESETS and by the looks of promo art, using Sans to enact his rage onto the player. Definitely check this one out, showing some big promise.

Final project I've included here is DUSTTRUST: Breaking Point by @ThatOneGuyAtSchool! This is granted, a Dusttrust take, but from previews of sprites it'll have its own unique spin on the formula. The amazing @JMNSky is working on this game and brought it to my attention so feel free to go check it out! Its very early on in development and could use the support!

That's all from me, today. I'm back and while I'm still waiting for help with my head, I'm still partially working on the game. Story progress is gonna be greatly slowed due to shifts in priority but I am still here, I am okay, and I'm getting the help I need which is all that's important.
