Updates and cool particle effects

Hey everyone, I just updated my game to the 0.1.1 version a few days back and am now working on the 0.1.2 update. On top of doing various tasks such as bug fixing and implementing more settings features, its always fun to get back into the creative side of game development, in this case it is in the form of making a new power up. The power up is a spinning set of shields which do damage and knock back enemies which was relatively quick to set up, however, the power up was quite bland and didn’t appear menacing initially.

Enter the Shuriken particle system from the Unity engine which when you first use is quite difficult but, after practice becomes quite enjoyable. Something about creating these awesome effects is quite relaxing and when you really get into the zone, you can spend hours playing around to get the perfect system working.

Now that that’s done guess its more bug fixing and long coding sessions…

Have a great day!

P.S. if you have any questions on how i created the lightning effect or anything else feel free to ask!

Strange Umbrella

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Explosive domino effect

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

blender animation experimentation, getting the hang of things fast. arms, rig, & gun models by me ofc
