Updates are coming

Hi, Maikel here again :D

So the voting period is going to end soon, but it’s not like we stopped the development on O-Yoroi. Not at all.

We’re making important changes based on your feedback. There are big changes that will be uploaded as soon as this voting period ends, and you’re still in time to help us make O-Yoroi a better arcade experience.

One of the main issues you found while playing our game was the lack of a Retry button. With the revamp of the GameOver screen (which was pretty barebones in the jam version) you will not have that problem anymore.

Another important change on the way is control input. You will find that the game feels way more responsive that it was in the old version, so weaving your way between those homing pink orbs of death will be, if not easier, at least more fair to the player. Also no more holding Down to get on a bike. Just one tap and off you go!

There are also a lot of effects and sounds that couldn’t make it to the jam version, so expect better explosions, lasers and cool stuff like that.

As you can see, your feedback is really important to us. We want to have a game that feels as solid as possible, so don’t hesitate, give it another go, and let me know what you think in the comments!

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
