Here are the list of changed we've made in this version:
v0.2.0
Updated Sonic Sprites.
Sonic and some HUD elements has decreased in size.
New low health animation for Sonic.
Game controllers are now fully supported (with additional vibration functions - vibrations are not compatible with PS5 DualSense controllers). Can be connected either wired or wirelessly via Bluetooth. Xbox controllers are recommended.
Stormy Precinct Zone has been redrawn drastically as well as new levels and textures.
HP design has been changed, to resemble more of rings and health together, similar to the other Sonic hack.
Improved Peaceful Glance Zone with an additional UI at the bottom of Sonic's health.
New animations for all in-game cutscenes.
A couple of new sounds.
Sonic can now roll by pressing down key (or down on controller D-pad or joystick) when the HogBounce Engine is running, as well as spindash sounds stops upon releasing.
Fixed an issue where Sonic drops beyond the ground when entering a boss.
Some bosses' attacks have been modified to reduce some unfairness.
Air cap is now available for Sonic (pressing jump button again while on air to perform air cap, similar to Sonic 3) This makes you invincible for a very small amount of time.
We hope you guys enjoy this new update. This should definitely improve the majority of areas for some people. Some things still need to be changed, which is why it is set to version 2.0.
Also, I set the development status to "complete" instead of "early access" because of how much has been done on this project and it was like it's the only and full version we have. Plus, I don't know if Ages Team themselves or this project is going to last any longer. If it doesn't then, I'll think of something else to try to continue this story. But that's nothing you should be concerned right now.
I'll record another gameplay video for this version later and then post it on YouTube.
