v1.12.10 - Events Cleanup

Almost entirely behind the scenes stuff that no one will ever notice, but makes future additions easier for me.

Had a bug report that I couldn't reproduce (no fade in at B-Side entry)...but I'm pretty sure I covered it anyway.


Behind the Scenes/Under the Hood:
-“Clear Party” common event is now “Clear Party w/store”.
-“Full Party clear” common event is now “Remove all actors”.
—This version of party clearing did not contain the faunus generics…thankfully it was not in use (as far as I remember it was only for Deeda’s unlocking event).
-“Clear Party w/store” now calls the “Remove all actors” event…this way I can’t update 1 and forget to update the other.
-Separate actor removal events for canon, OC, mercs, etc that are called by the remove all event.

Bugs:
-Fade in added to “not working” scroll events as well as checking the map in B-Side…this adds a little delay to these events as it tries to fade in even when unnecessary.
—A failure to fade in issue was reported in B-Side.
-Quick entry panels for Zombies, RvB, and B-Side could be accessed in Team Mode and even if main character switch errors had occurred.
—Panels will now not appear unless main switch sensing variable is active, and will disappear if Team Mode sensing variable is active.

B-Side:
-The cats in town now follow Kali, Sienna, and certain TFed versions of Ruby and Jaune.
—This is in addition to the old list of Blake, Rona, Wisp, Neon, and Amethyst (“normal” and B-Side versions).
-“WFC - Break In” map has been widened to fill screen (which distorts it a lot, but rather have full screen).
-Weapons now each have their own type so they have more appropriate animations when using “Attack”.
—This changes the rules as to who can use Horns and Weighted Chests.
—Horn usage is now based on lung capacity and such rather than being considered sniper rifles…meaning Weiss can use them now, but Ruby can’t…among other examples.
—Wearing a Magic Bracelet will now allow Horn usage.
—Chests require brute strength rather than the old Buster classification’s strength and balance…therefore almost everyone that could use them before still can, while many new people have access, as well as all androids.
—Wearing a Power Bracelet will now allow Chest usage.
-Clearing of party, establishment of main character, retention of androids, equipping the B-Side armor to allow use of B-Side weapons and equipment, and fading back in is now handled by a series of common events attached to the entry events rather than 4 events totaling some 70 pages after entering the area.

Blood Gulch:
-Gun animations updated to caliber versions.
—Church is considered to have a nearly self-aiming .50cal while the normal is a .338, hence his 40% accuracy instead of 1% with the .338 over in the bad guys dungeon.
-Clearing of party, establishment of main character, retention of androids, and fading back in is now handled by a series of common events attached to the entry events rather than 4 events totaling some 70 pages after entering the peaceful version of Blood Gulch.
-Parallel event to keep the map display switches for the PortNite extension OFF has been removed and effects added to Red/Blue decision events (parallel events cause lag, and the purpose was to make sure the map didn’t pop up immediately after choosing a team).
—Similar event in the Server Room has been changed to autorun when either the PortNite or Z Guide switches are ON…it turns them both OFF, but doesn’t have an “erase event” so it can do it multiple times…hopefully this won’t cause infinite loops.
-Maps now fill screen.

Zombie Mode:
-Clearing of party, establishment of main character, retention of androids, equipping special weapons, and fading back in is now handled by a series of common events attached to the entry events rather than 4 events totaling some 70 pages after entering the area.
—This allows the return of the unreachable zombies in the urban sim (and makes it WAY easier to add new playable mains in the future).
—Notifications of special weapons being added and equipped added…reminder to equip self/party with weapons added (has sensor to detect solo or party).
-Freeway and Interstate maps now fill screen.
