v1.13.1 - Bugz Gone Wild

Couple major ones...some details...not as bad as I thought it'd be...yet...

Bunch of small changes too.


Bugs:
-States “Wind Knocked Out” and “Knocked Out” not nullifying evasion/counters.
—“Wind Knocked Out” max duration lowered to 3 turns, minimum duration raised to 3 turns, and overlay changed from confusion to silence.
—“Bodyblow“‘s chance of inflicting it raised from 25% to 30%
—“Ballbuster” remains 100% chance if the attack hits (75% accuracy)
—“Knocked out” max duration lowered to 4 turns and overlay changed from confusion to sleep.
—“Rabbit Punch“‘s chance of inflicting it lowered from 50% to 40%.
—“Wonder Clog“‘s chance of inflicting it lowered from 100% to 60%.
—“Tachi: Gekko“‘s chance of inflicting it lowered from 50% to 25% (Tachi: Kasha inflicts “Disoriented” which nullifies counters, but not evasion…so it remains 50/50 chance).
—“Knocked Down” state minimum duration lowered from 2 turns to 1 (maximum duration is still 2 turns).
—“Disoriented” state no longer causes battler to kneel.
-Erin Lv75’s normal aura regen wasn’t removed (though barrier regen was added).
-“Deflection Stance” did not have an activation speed bonus (supposed to be +2000 like all other guard skills).
-Despite what it says…Action End state removal timing is not working correctly with the BattleEngineCore plugin…meaning “Disoriented”, “Holy Hand Grenade”, and the recast timing state for Ganymede’s “Energy Infuser” never get removed.
—These have all been changed to Turn End timing.
-Jennifer Lv20’s model filename was wrong…possible crash error.
-Missed “Pummel” in the animation updates.
-Ganymede’s “Powerhouse” enhancer was supposed to increase attack by 50% (that’d be 150% in the editor)…but I set it to 50%…meaning her attack was cut in half rather than boosted (this did not affect enemy version).

Changes:
-“Speed Dance” now has a bonus to activation speed (+500).
-“Shadow Dance” is now 3 hits instead of 4 with modifier dropped from 225 (900 total) to 200 (600 total), but is now undodgeable and has a different animation.
-Guard skills that add counters now only add 50% instead of 100%
-“Guard” and “Counter” now add resistance to “Knocked Out” in addition to the “Knocked Down” resistance they already had (because you wouldn’t allow a serious blow to your head while braced, would you?).
-“Counterfire” now adds resistance to “Disoriented” in addition to “Knocked Down” (because you’re more focused).
-Note: “Stonewall” already had these resistances.
-Note: Flashbangs inflict the “Disoriented” state…Holy Hand Grenades inflict a more powerful version that “Counterfire” won’t guard against (though “Stonewall” will).
-“Light Screen”, “Bubble Shield”, and “Defense Screen” now protect against armor damage and the knocked out/down and disoriented states (including Holy Hand Grenades) with the same potency that they reduce damage taken.
-Myrtenaster (all variants) now has “Deflection Stance”.
—Weiss (all levels) and Linitik (all levels) now use “Deflection Stance” instead of “Counter”.
-Vorpal Sword (+Holo) now has “Deflection Stance”.
—Sapphire Lv99 and Alice Lv75 now use “Deflection Stance” instead of “Counterfire” and “Counter” respectively.
-Excalibur now has “Deflection Stance”.
—Pheonix Lv75 now uses “Deflection Stance” instead of “Counter”.
-Pyrrha Lv50 now uses “Deflection Stance” instead of “Counter”.
-Captain Raven (Ship Wars! when Bumblebee is low on points) will now use Raven’s side-view battler…since I’m obviously in no hurry to trim a screencap for her.
-EXP and Lien drops in the “Golden Gauntlet” have been halved from the basic enemies, but added to the bosses to remain 10k from full clear regardless of reward chosen.
—The bosses now use side-view battler models.
-The frolickers in the B-Side quest “Little Bunny Kung Foo” now use side-view battlers.
—The Lv2 frolickers now use a different field model (because the old one didn’t have a side-view).
-Hit Accuracy plugin is back.
—Accuracy is determined by skill accuracy
—Evasion is determined by target’s evasion minus user’s accuracy
—These together negate large -evasion from guaranteeing a hit even with low accuracy skills (Church…)
—Everyone’s hit rate as been lowered from 100% to 0%
—Hit Rate on the status screen renamed to Evasion Nullification (reordered that menu as well)
—Select people and armors have +hit rate now (Zens, Nirvanas, Feline Agility, gun focused generics and androids, etc…Jade’s “Tracking Vectors” semblance has enough to negate just about any enemy’s evasion).
—Enemies (all 276 of them) rechecked for proper +hit rate settings
-Full-Body armors and a few other things now protect against the “Wind Knocked Out” state (applied by gut or crotch hits…)
-Damage pop-ups now set to 135 frames instead of 180 (less screen clutter…battle flow doesn’t wait from them to disappear).
—Barrier damage purple opacity set to 180 instead of 160.
—Critical damage yellow opacity set to 200 instead of 160 (felt the colors need to “pop” more since everything happens so fast now).
-Skill Mastery added for a few skills.
—+5% damage per level…some can go to 5, some to 10.
-Added notes about accuracy to Professor Goodwitch’s “Who makes the game the easiest” question.
—Looked through all the professors while at it and found a typo in Olivia’s (takes over for Port in the classroom at Beacon if you have him)…extra “the”.
-InstantCast plugin added exclusively for Deeda’s shapeshifting skills.
—If you somehow get her multiple actions, it will only be instant if selected 1st and incurs a 2 turn cooldown on shapeshifting.
-Yang enemies will now wait until the end of turn to use “Light Up” when conditions are met.
-“Carpet Bomb” is now 24 hits instead of 12 to match its animation…damage per hit halved to match.
