Version: 0.0.0.3 Update

Finally got a good chance to add in a bit more to the game. A bit more than originally planned for today, actually. Should help make up the lacking amount of content in the last version.

New Features:

  • Hacking has been added. Hold the Up Arrow Key to begin hacking. When the meter is filled, the player will release a pulse that will hack all devices it touches. Hacked devices will remain hacked for 30 seconds.

  • Doors have been added. Doors can be hidden behind and will open when the player or guard steps near them. If the alarm is sounded, doors will only open for the guards. If a door is hacked, only the player can open them. Doors can be hacked even if the alarm has be rung.

  • Alarm system in place. Guards can activate the alarm by hitting an non-hacked alarm switch. Can also be triggered manually by pressing the E key (Debug feature).

  • Alarm switches have been added. If an alerted guard passes these, they will activate the alarm. These can also be hacked. When hacked, they will not allow guards to trigger an alarm.

  • Guards must mantain a line of sight with the player in order to remain agroed on them. If they lose sight of the player for around 5 seconds, they will give up their chase.

Other minor tweaks may be noticeable.

Enjoy. Be sure to comment and give any and all feedback from testing and, if you haven’t already, follow the game so you can be informed of future updates.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
