Hello, and thanks to everyone that has SOMEHOW played through the black screen at the start of the game! I'm releasing a patch that addresses that and a bunch of other things in the game. These patch notes will contain spoilers for the game, just as a heads up!
Character Changes
Ghostly Smacker and The Shadow will now briefly pause when Black opens her eyes
Aura Booster now affects the kill timers for Pink, Grapes, and Necrosis' Undead
Pink, Grapes, and Necrosis' Undead will now briefly pause during Aerolyte's fly-by boost
Mechs will now slow down at stage 4 or freeze completely at stage 5 if The Shadow is in the center doorway or has been enraged during their room attack
Mechs minimum spawn delay reduced to 25s-15s (from 35s-15s)
Grapes past the second will now spawn in faster
Grape 3 spawns at Round 35/28 (from 40/32)
Grape 4 spawns at Round 50/40 (from 60/48)
Grape 5 spawns at Round 60/48 (from 80/64)
Grape 6 spawns at Round 60 (from 80), but is still Monochrome exclusive
Modifier Changes
Insanity passive mini-boost cooldown increased to 9 seconds (from 6 seconds)
Monochrome now darkens the green ring in Char's minigame
Champion power drain when hitting the shock button reduced to 0.33% (from 0.5%)
Other Changes
Base power drain reduced to 1% per 4 seconds (from 3 seconds)
Having both doors closed and using either the flashlight or the cameras will now count as 4 systems being used, keeping the full power drain the same
Boosts will now have a screen effect upon activating, creating a green hue over the screen and stating what boost is about to trigger
Changed some Info-Nator entries to fix mistakes or add some clarity to mechanics
Changed some intro dialogue in Maximum Level and Ultimate Challenge
Increased the difficulty of every level, early levels getting a harder hit than later levels
Bug Fixes
Fixed the screen having a black screen before Minigame Level was attempted
Fixed main menu options still acting as if they were hovered after screen transitions
Fixed being able to pull up the level info menu as the level select screen is closing
Fixed Pink and Brown's boost icons still having eyes if Monochrome is enabled
Fixed Ghostly Smacker's fingers being visually messed up, especially on her left (your right) hand
Fixed Ghostly Smacker and The Shadow not slowing down for a while after Char's bullet hell boost ends
Fixed Necrosis' Undead camera renders if there were 4 or more Undead active
Fixed The Shadow's boost effect if Champion Mode is active
I am thinking about doing another patch in a few weeks to add in some visual stuff that didn't make it into the release version, mainly due to time restraints, but I'm not sure at the moment.
