Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good April Fools day. I know I sure did when I released that Color Factory April Fools game, even if it meant staying up until it WASN'T April Fools anymore to release it!
Now regarding Colorful Factory, the actual game, we're wrapping up some of the art and finishing up some of the menus so the game isn't too far away now! As I didn't upload anything during March, there will be another devlog soon that has more to show in the game itself.
The April Fools version of the game will remain up until the actual game is released.
Speaking of which, even though it was just an April Fools game, a patch has been released for Colorful Factory's April Fools:
Main Changes:
The death screen now shows your total deaths - This was tracked already but never displayed
Yellow and Red's indicators now visibly move to their new locations instead of teleporting
Added an Endless Night - Color AIs increase every 5 matches, even past their maximum!
Pressing R now automatically restarts the Night
Nights 2 and 3 are now 3 minutes
The cooldown between matches is now always 4s, even on mismatches
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug with the UI and scaling, turns out the initial fix I had just in case didn't work, oops
Fixed a bug where Purple would still block the doorways as she was leaving - She's slightly less of a troll now!
Fixed a bug where clicking on Yellow's vent cooldown indicators could trigger the fans
Fixed an edge-case bug with the office colors and their attack/counter timers
Fixed some visual errors
