Version 1.3.1!


Hey everyone! The new update to Timetales is here! While this version doesn’t actually have any major updates to the story, I’ve improved the quality of the first area and fixed a myriad of glitches. Some of the updates include the following:

-Upgraded the Ruins graphics/tiles
-Added controller support for the Overworld (Battle system to be implemented soon)
-Fixed Asgore’s extras room battle attack
-Fixed some spawn location issues from the start menu
-Fixed volume levels not being applied from the menu during some scenes
-Added an extra room to mark the beginning of the next part of Waterfall
-Added additional houses to Snowdin Town (not yet accessible)
-Added fades in/out for room transitions
-A lot of other miscellaneous things that either aren’t worth mentioning or I forgot about

Also, credit to fantasychica37 for pointing out the following glitches so I could fix them:
-Items crashing the game in-battle
-Saying yes to Groovedrake crashing the game
-Papyrus being able to follow you outside of Waterfall

Besides the current updates, here’s some of the things I’m planning to release in the near-future:
-Adding puzzles to the upcoming segments of Waterfall
-Adding new NPCs/signs/interactions to Ruins, Snowdin (Town) and Waterfall
-Having Space Bar advance the text in automated cutscenes
-Adding a push-back effect when the player walks into a party member
-Changing where or how health/stamina displays so it doesn’t take up as much room in-battle during the enemy’s turn
-The items button in-battle preventing you from moving left/right while active
-Changing the opening page graphic
