Version 2.0b has released! Click "Read article" to view the changelog, and some other stuff.


  • Updated the game to refer to the update as V2.0 instead of V1.1.

  • Fixed a bug regarding the Game Over screen not showing if you pause the game after dying.

Yes, version 1.1 has been renamed to 2.0. I don't really like renaming updates after they've already came out, but considering V1.1/2.0 added a second credits screen, I think it warrants being called V2.0.

There are two additional things to note:

  • The Windows builds of this game are now completely untested, since I have fully switched to Linux. That shouldn't be an issue, though, considering that Godot is very cross-platform.

  • V2.0b was actually based on V2.0, and not 2.0a (due to improper backups). The V2.0a features have been ported, but they may be slightly off.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
