Version 3 - Falcons and Trophies!

Hello! I just uploaded a new version of The Reaper’s Dog, with many new features:

  1. A new enemy: the falcon! These pesky birds dodge your bullets - if you let them.

  2. Eight achievements which encourage different styles of play.

  3. A revamped score system and high score tables.

  4. Title menu improvements.

  5. Tutorial improvements. You will only be forced into the tutorial the first time you play. If you want to see the tutorial again, click the button on the title screen.

  6. Some slight balancing to animal spawn rates. Alligators are more common so there won’t be too many enemy bullets to avoid at once.

A big update! I had to write a web system for the high scores and achievements, but it can be re-used in future games! If you find any strange behavior, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I hope you enjoy!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Quantum precognition is one of the most powerful cards. End game cards & equipment. Demo/alpha build boss is no match for this deck.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Made my first ever animation.
