switched the workbench to use entities and you can still place a million of them after crafting just 2
i think i got the basic hunger system working

btw the shading is on a separate layer (demonstrated on the top right of the screenshot)
slightly upgraded camera (it now also aims for the mouse pointer, but the camera is actually targeting a pair of two variables that use the same fencing as the camera)
