RTD Productions: “Waluigi Fan-Game ARC”

Alright, here’s the other half of the GREATEST SM64 ROM Hack ever created that’s based on a near ded meme… Waluigi’s Taco Stand 64! The most interesting ROM Hack I’ve ever played that was created by Kaze Emanuar: the ROM Hacking game-changer himself!

But this ROM Hack in particular really is something special.
It has a unique story to it, too: “Waluigi has spent too much time at the Casino, and now he’s ALL out of money to pay his house bills. Luckily for him, “Mr. Rent” assigned him a new job as a Taco Vendor. Collect the ingredients you need to make the perfect tacos, work your way to the top, and make enough profit to pay your rent.”

(Or at least… that’s how I think the story goes.)

So yeah. All you have to do is stomp goombas, chase mice, catch fish, kill Piranah Plants, search holes, attack vultures, and explore a volcano in order to find the ingredients you need. (And trust me when I say that attacking a vulture is definitely the hardest thing to pull off… but not when you’re Waluigi. YOU CAN’T DIE!)

But let me tell you right now. This game has it’s own fresh and unique take on SM64 ROM Hacking altogether. And it makes me wonder what works of art Kaze Emanuar has in store for the future. (Although… there is a certain ROM Hack that I really want to get my hands on when it comes out. Look forward to it!)

I’m giving this game the perfect rating of 10/10 for the… honestly
HILARIOUS story that fits the concept of the gameplay’s primary objective. Of course, not all of the tasks were easy. In fact, only ONE Task in particular was time consuming-ly HARD compared to most of the other tasks… even the FINAL Task was easier than the one I’m referring to. But the task itself will make the game’s ending feel worth it. (…that is, if you’re a completionist/speed-runner. You’ll find that the ending isn’t worth your time. But it IS quite satisfying* to see it, though.)
