Hello, weegeepublicans. It's been a while since we've last talked... Happy New Year, everyone! I know I haven't been making many updates, but due to reasons that are personal to your truly... I'm taking a slight breather from game development. Resources for my latest fan-game are coming in thanks to a reliable source, so I have yet to unveil what my upcoming game project is in due time. (Plans for that have wrapped up & assets have to be made, after all...)
I'm sure you guys have noticed that both my PFP/Headers for GameJolt have been upgraded significantly, yes? It's because this year is gonna be different for me in a way that I at first NEVER thought would happen... but now is a possibility.
Since my YouTube Channel is finally out of scheduled premieres, I'm now able to push out videos whenever I want. And this would've normally been a problem, since I usually have to draw the thumbnails for any video I'd produce (since I'd normally showcase fan-games)... but sometime last year, I've acquired both GMod & VRChat-- and they've been HUGE game-changers since then. I made a Special Announcement Video & a VRChat/GMod Video that were uploaded and released a while back just to test things out on my YouTube Channel. It's a rocky start, but I released some polls a while ago talking about the VRChat/GMod Video itself to see if anyone would like to see more bloopers in a style like that. (It's up to you whether you'd like to vote or not, though...)
But over time, I eventually got better at making GMod Bloopers. Taking cues from professionals, and molding the format into my own-- just to come up with something special for this year. But what is it, you guys are probably wondering?
Well... have a look at this:
RTD Bloopers: Mario Avoids The Rabbit Hole (TEASER)
Comes with the thumbnail I teased in this devlog, too. You're probably wondering what it is, am I right? Well... it's supposed to be a YouTube Event of sorts-- an event that everyone can partake in if thy really want to. Details have not been fully determined yet, but I plan to expand upon it after the video premieres with a follow-up video of sorts. If you're a fan of Hololive (or just like Mario & Meme Compilations in general), then please be sure to spread the word about this event once the teaser has dropped. I will be providing additional details before it drops as well, so please feel free to ask question here if necessary. (I'm still working on it as we speak, after all... it's a professional community-based project that's aimed to be something anyone can get involved with!)
For now though, I think it's time to wrap things up. I will have another devlog covering the event set HERE by the moment it finally premieres on the channel. I hope to see all you weegeepublicans by then! See ya on good ol' April 1st! 🥳
