We're officially out of the Betas!


I’m proud to release the full version of Shift! Here’s a quick changelog;

  • 12 new button levels!

  • 2 new modes

    • 5 Minutes

    • 10 Minutes

  • Better graphics

    • Bomb model now has Ambient Occlusion

    • Image effects work on UI elements, giving buttons a (very) slight glow

    • If you are using an integrated graphics card such as Intel Family Graphics, this shouldn’t affect your performance, but may affect the temperature of your machine

  • Added Mod Menu

    • Removed Sewer Level button, now in mod section

    • Removed Invert Cursor button, now in mod section

    • Mods include:
      Music based:

      • CLUSTERFUCK

      • MOBILE PHONE
        Game based:

      • INVERT CURSOR

  • Added new Game Jolt API features!

    • Survive for 1 minute trophy

    • 5 Minute mode points leaderboard

    • 1 Minute mode points leaderboard

    • Leaderboards now only save your best score.

  • Button levels now have an animated scanline that runs down the screen

  • Loading screens!

  • Fixed a bug that made the invert cursor button (now in mod menu) glitch up your mouse

  • Tweaked the Painter mode so the timer is now fully black

  • Improved menu

  • Infinite mode is now named Classic mode

  • Fixed time related things saying Minutes instead of Seconds

  • Updated engine to Unity 5.

The important things are the new modes and the better graphics. Everything else is just an improvement or bug fix.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
