If you weren't already aware, there was a game prior to The Edge that I was developing with a very similar premise, but unfortunately didn't go very far. I wanted to take the idea and start anew.

As a reward for passing 135 followers, the amount the old game page had, I'm going to list the differences between both games!

• Main character has a new name, as well as his family and the tragic backstory. There are also new additional characters.

• Instead of a therapy dog animatronic, there used to be a parrot. This parrot was named Avis. He wasn't scary enough.

• Harold Smith, formerly known as Alex Birch, was also diagnosed with depression, not just schizophrenia. Now it is just severe schizophrenia.

• The old game was planned to have been in a stationary office with different characters coming from different ways: a closet to the left, a door to the right, a window into the building in the front, and an exit door behind you. It used to be a warehouse as well, and would function similar to Jolly 3 or FNAF: SL where you could roam around point-and-click style and do separate night tasks before leaving.

• The new storyline is one I plan to not continue, but rather have other games take place in the same world but not the same continued story Harold had.

• The old storyline was going to be a one game thing, a stand alone. I felt telling the story of this poor man's life and horrific mental issues was something special. But it didn't ring, stick, or feel meaningful.
