Week 2 - Supermarket Dash

Well this is it! the second week of my weekly game challenge.

This game was inspired by a video that was sent to me, where an employee of a supermarket chain is chosen to do a “60 second dash” where they have one minute to run through the supermarket and getting everything they can. The rules: It has to be IN the car by the end of that time. Also you can nominate someone in your place if you get chosen. At the end they get everything in their cart for free.

Well, I’m not sure if I should keep calling it “weekly” given that I have only one day free that I can dedicate to this. Anyways, I’m pretty happy with what I managed to do in such a short span of time :) If you’re curious it took me about 4 hours of development from start to finish (without including breaks in between)

Also I’ve been looking at these games and I feel they could be so much more, maybe instead of making one a week I’d work on one for a whole month but have a “more finished” product by the end? Not sure yet.

I do like working under these tight time constraints or deadlines. Though I do with I could dedicate more time to this.

Anyways, rant is over! See you next week!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
