weekly devlog #1

ay lads!

so ive decided i will share progress on the game each week the only exception being if nothing worth noting has happened.

so ive been working on this project for about a month now, i have

the story, gameplay, style and overall feel of the game. Its kind of more like portal at the start but by the end of the game it will be more like amnesia with some puzzle elements.

so far i have done

  1. main menu

  2. chamber 1

  3. chamber 2

  4. sound effects

  5. soundtrack for the main menu and chamber 1

  6. a text to speech robot/tv thing

  7. being able to open a door if something is on a button.

  8. being able to pick up objects and have them collide with walls and other objects

  9. decided the first enemy (which you will most likely see a teaser of by the end of the week)

if anyone has any questions about the project i will try and answer

them. for now i have a few things i want to state

will the game be free?

yes it will be this project is more so to test what i can do then to make profit.

will the game be on steam?

maybe, im not sure at the moment no

so that should be all for now enjoy the rest of your day

cya lads!

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
