Weekly Update #08 - Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey everyone! This week was a slow week in terms of development on Downfall. We were focusing more on one objective for the week.

THANKSGIVING

This week is Thanksgiving! We would all love to wish you all a lovely Thanksgiving. We will also be taking some time to enjoy our Thanksgiving this week. We may not have an update next week due to this, but it still could happen.

ODST

This week, our lead modeler, Dan focused on creating a prototype ODST model. This will help us get going with animations in 3D along with getting multiplayer together. Once we get the main characters models down for the campaign, we will most likely start moving into soft customization just to get a feel of what we can do with the game. Since the game is limited to ODSTs, we’ll have to be more imaginative with our customization.

Final Prototype
Here it is. The final version of the first ODST prototype model. This will be foundation of the other characters we create in the future. Don’t be alarmed! This model will most likely be update multiple times before we reach a final base model!

HALO COMMUNITY SHOWCASE

Great news! The Fuel Rod from last weeks update made it into this weeks community showcase from 343 themselves! We’re glad to be getting some recognition from the big boys themselves! We want this project to keep growing and getting more and more people to know about it is a key part of that. Be sure to share this project with your friends that may be interested!

LOOKING FOR TEAM MEMBERS

We’re always looking for new team members! If you or someone you know has any experience in design, modeling, art, etc please let us know! We’re currently in need of a new modeler.

That’s all for this week! Sorry for the short update, but after Thanksgiving, we will be shifting into full gear and we can’t wait to start showing you all what we’re planning! Have a happy Thanksgiving!
