WEEKLY UPDATE #13 - The Holidays
Hello everyone! As you may have noticed, we took a break last week from making an update. This was all due to the holidays. However we’re back this week with some awesome new concepts and a new look at a brand new vehicle model, the Falcon. With the new year here, development will be kicking into full gear and we plan to get some more early looks at gameplay onto your devices ASAP!
THE FALCON
After we showed you the Hornet in the last update, our lead modeler, Dan when straight to work on the fan-favorite Falcon. I personally was a massive fan of the Falcon in Reach.
Falcon - Front
Here it is! The first look at the Falcon in Downfall! The falcon can be used to go on the offensive or defensive during a battle. Rush into the battle using the front turret or exfil your troops back to base. The falcon will be able to hold up to 4 additional troops.
CONCEPTS
We have a few awesome concepts to show you this week. The first of which is an early look at a unnamed large-scale multiplayer map.
Early Concept - Subject To Change
This is the first concept art shown for any multiplayer maps for Downfall. This map is planned to be a large scale map for game modes like Big Team Battle. This one angle, doesn’t even get close to showing you the size of this map in concept. There still a lot of space out there. This is subject to change as everything is of course ;)
Banshee In The Snow
This is the first concept you’ve all seen from our new concept artist Samba. This concept doesn’t really show off anything that will be in the game, but just something to show off what Samba will be able to do. Besides, it looks awesome!
Downfall Poster 2018
The brand new poster for Downfall! We posted this poster last week and everyone seemed to love it. This was created by Callum!
TEAM ADDITIONS
Checkered - Checkered is our brand new 3D modeler. He will be working on some vehicles and props for levels.
That’s all for this week! We hope everyone had a great time over the holidays and we wish you all the best in 2019!
