So, it's a crisp, October morning, and I am playing Minecraft, as per usual. I'm on my singleplayer world when I cannot for the life of me find any sheep, so I use /tp @e @s to teleport nearby entities to me. I get some foxes, which kills my chickens (yay) Minecarts with Chests, some wolves, but no shep. So, I just peacefully remove everyone with a Netherite Axe and decide to just use a spawn egg to spawn some sheep. But the sheep die??? Confused, I look around, nothing. No wolves. Can't hear anything. Turn on hitboxes, and nothing. Nothing to suggest a wolf was there, and yet the sheep were dying and even looked like they were being pushed by... Something. I was going to record it to report it on the bug tracker, but then I thought I would just rejoin the world, and lo and behold, the ghost wolf is a ghost no more! I peacefully removed him too, spawn shep and no more die. Interesting bug, but it isn't a big deal, though I'm still curious as to what happened. If you think you know what this bug is or what caused it, I was playing on OptiFine release 1.21.1-OptiFine_HD_U_J1_pre14. Also, I had no mods or shaders enabled, I mainly use OptiFine for the Quick Info menu for now, but once I get a better pc I hope to start using them. The place I tped them to could've also affect it, which was my location, which was in a small... "Pen," it's more of a 5x5 hole, 2 blocks deep. I can't remember how many mobs in total there were, but there was quite a few, and about 8 Minecarts with Chests, I remember that because I kept them and placed them for extra storage. Any ideas on what caused this? (And also why I couldn't find sheep in the first place. There weren't any remains, nor any wolves. Minecraft isn't minecrafting rn)
