Hey everyone! I'm so happy that I finally introduced to you my new project. I would like to explain further about the game. At the first glance it looks like another FNaF 1 Remake. And you are completely right, it IS a remake of the first FNaF game Scott made. But it has a unique cursed/analog horror artstyle inspired by other FNaF media.
That's why I came to explain the what Bygone Memories are and other information about it.
WHAT IS BYGONE MEMORIES?
First things first. Bygone Memories is a different take of the Five Nights at Freddy's story, written with more lively characters, new plot lines, and re-done mechanics, all of which still have some elements of the original FNaF.
The concept of making this game spinned in our minds for like a half of the year. With many ideas and other tweaks to have more disturbing atmosphere of a horror game. Alongside with the story which won't be as complex as the original franchise.
If you could guess, the artstyle is mainly inspired by 2 other media: Graveyard Shift at Freddy's by @avocadodreams and FNaF Ransomware virus videos & games. However, the game won't overuse the method of being a corrupted program because it will ruin the scariness of the atmosphere by being repetetive.
Gameplay-wise, it's an average FNaF fangame you could get. 5 Nights, bonus six night, boss fight, a custom night mode and all. We know the gameplay doesn't sound so special but we will try to make it as good, satisfying and challenging as possible. ;^D
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT STATE
Well... We could say there's like 20% of the game getting full complete. We're currently programming the office segment with other minor details. Don't you worry, because we'll try to to make occasional devlogs to keep you on what's going on with the game.
Also, we have a plan to release a 2-night demo when we finish making the important parts in the future.
For now, it is all we can say about all of it. Thank you so much for reading!
