What's been going on with the game's development lately? (Help wanted)


I am deeply sorry to say that there hasn’t been anything major going on for the game’s development aside from fixing some very annoying issues. If you have been following me on Patreon or Twitter you might have seen some of the minor changes and progress that I have made to the game, although these things are quite minor I still hope that I will release the 0.1 Early access build on gamejolt before mid summer of this year.

Yes I know it took me a long time but I am still learning Godot and I have school and studies to look after which slows down the game’s development to a crawl, back then on my vacation there was always more than two commits submitted to the github page when i actually had time, now I don’t have any free time to devote myself into working on this game 24/7, I would like to actually start focusing on it if my patreon had some cash coming from it cough cough but anyways.. that’s why I am asking for help from any talented individuals or anyone who has some free time to come and help the game’s development over at github!

TWCRemake is open source as some of you know, meaning that anyone can hop on the game’s development and help it grow. Currently there are a few issues that I cannot handle my self because of my limited knowledge of the Godot game engine and hope that would someone come and take care of these issues one day or another so I can focus on finishing and polishing the game, if anyone with any talent and free time would like to help the game in anyway the github page has everything you need to know to get started :

Next up

House points and the house cup have been implemented, Now what's left is representing this visually to the player and add the 25% bonus EXP for the winning house. check the latest changes here https://github.com/MaxIsJoe/TWCRemake

NPCs have been added into the game and they have some dialogue as well, they're still not ready but they exist now.

I started working on reviving HPTWC almost 5 months ago on it's engine (BYOND) but then i realized that it's just better to remake the game in a more powerful engine and give it a fresh start that it deserves. https://github.com/MaxIsJoe/TWCRemake

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
