Hey. How you doing? I seriously hope you're doing well. This week, and last week, have been very active when it comes to production of The Whisker's Initiative, and it's trailer! Everything is coming together, VERY excited to show y'all. Now, onto some updates 'n stuff..
POSSIBLE TRAILER DELAY
Last week, I made a post where I revealed the date for the official teaser trailer of the film. However, the teaser trailer hasn't been exactly finished and 100% filmed, with most of the trailer being entirely exclusive shots to it...so I believe that the March 9th date is very unlikely, but still somewhat possible! Here are all the possible dates where the trailer COULD drop in.
SATURDAY, MARCH 9TH - Unlikely, but still a possibility.
TUESDAY, MARCH 12TH - Most likely possibility.
SATURDAY, MARCH 16TH - Very likely, but the latest.
Either way, the trailer IS coming either late this week or early next week. It's very unlikely for it to be out late next week, or the week after, but it's coming in fast!
GENERAL UPDATE
The Whisker's Initiative's production, even though active, has also been very rocky! My good friend Chip (Co-Writer, "Lucas") has had some personal difficulties as of lately, and he's portraying one of the main characters of the film. Due to this, we might be forced to make some massive rewrites to the film, decreasing the character's screentime, and also reshoot some of his scenes, with most of these decisions being made with his current personal difficulties in mind.
With this in mind, these rewrites could actually benifit the film to make it way scarier, and even further streamline the plot and remove certain elements i'd deem "filler"...but even though it's for the best, things are still going to get harder as time goes on.
Most of the scenes that have been shot are conversations between Dylan (protagonist) and Lucas, or any other character involved in the production of Dylan's movie. As a matter of fact, we haven't shot a single scene with the costumes - the first scenes of them that we will shoot are trailer exclusive scenes, which are scheduled for tomorrow.
Overall, production has hit some rough patches...but it's worth it! I hope y'all are both doing good AND are patiently awaiting the first trailer for the film! I'll promise ya, it'll blow y'alls minds! Feel free to also ask any questions regarding either the film itself or it's production.
Until next time!
