A whole week or maybe even two of silence?! Oh boy oh boy, what happened to your mediocre content?!?!
Relax, relax, I'm alright! The 4th semester of university has just started for me last Monday, so I apologize for being so busy and so silent. So far it's only been one week at the time of making this post, but either way, university can definitely take up some time without anyone even realizing!
Some of you, or probably none of you, are wondering what I've been up to during my time being silent. Honestly, not much has been going on. Surprising, huh? Just a guy who's been drawing, gaming, so on, so forth.
Alright, enough of me going off-track. You all are probably interested in what I've got going on in store, maybe even some tiny crumbs of news for Cube's Dark Hours 4?!...
Actually... Not yet...
Some of you probably already know the ending of the "Together Again" challenge (in Cube's Dark Hours 3 v1.1.0), either by beating it yourself or watching @Rykan 's gameplay (Here's a link, make sure to support him! https://youtu.be/YIj8Vht0aQA?si=xFxll5HDERqINcdJ).
Instead of Cube's Dark Hours 4 (or whatever it may be called), I have decided to put my focus on Cube's Dark Hours Reopened!

If you have been keeping up with my drawing posts, you would've figured it out by now that I use a more sharper, almost pixelated brush style. With the recent Lighthog, Darkhog and Anty drawings, the lines used there were more smoother...
Well, judging by this, you would've guessed by now that I use more smoother lines for the games. Basically, I have slowly been working… NOT on the full game (at least not yet), but rather a supposed DEMO of Cube's Dark Hours Reopened!
A demo? I thought you never did demos! What gives?!
That is true, I have never once done demos for any of my projects (and probably will never after this). This time around, since most of you probably already know how Cube's Dark Hours (the first game) goes, I figured: Why not? Why not let the others experience a demo of what's to be expected?!
Cube's Dark Hours Reopened is still far off from being 100% complete, but I believe that, from about a month of silent development, some basic stuff should be ready to warrant a demo release, and to hold you all over before the full release!
When can we expect a DEMO, or even the full release for Cube's Dark Hours Reopened?
Before I say anything, the full release of Cube's Dark Hours Reopened is aiming for a release date of August 12th, 2025!
Hey, August 12th is the exact same date Cube's Dark Hours first released! Crazy to think this series is going to be celebrating its 1 year anniversary pretty soon!
Now, where was I... Oh, right! The demo release!
Currently, I have absolutely no idea when exactly the demo will release. All I can say is to keep a close eye, or rather a close ear to the notification... Because, just like usual, my release schedules are quite unforeseen...
That doesn't give us much information at all! At least show us some stuff!
Not sure if you're actually thinking these words or not, but I just want to get these screenshots out already!
Without further ado, here are the screenshots from Cube's Dark Hours Reopened (or, at least, some of the cameras):
Camera 1 "Showstage":

Camera 2 "Pricklz Showstage":

Camera 3 "Prize Corner":

Possible Camera Monitor screenshot concept (just something I threw together in photoshop as a "mockup"):

A higly likely final design for the Camera map (since the last concept image showed it):

(INFO: The darkened areas are inaccessible, while the lighter areas are accessible. Do you unlock these cameras? No, you do not... You possibly didn't think Cube's Dark Hours Reopened was ONLY a remaster, did you?)
(Take all of these reveals with a grain of salt, not everything is final and has a very high probability of being altered and/or changed in the final release!)
Okay, okay, that's enough images! I've still got stuff to keep in the shadows...
Anyways, I hope that all of you are doing alright! I've said this many times, but I'm saying it again: Thank you all for your love and support! I'm truly grateful to have any kind of audience on GameJolt, Youtube, etc. that enjoy the "mediocre" stuff that I make. There are so many people and so many projects that are leagues better than mine, and to even think, to even imagine, that you all still stick around means a lot to me!
I'll be heading out now.
Take care, God bless!
