yapping post before I show more stuff + goals


Hey so.. if you've been here for a while you know i said "this wont take 6 more months" in December

it's been 6 more months

but I literally have the next 3 months to go crazy and ive BEEN working on it .. the past 6 months 💓

so my goals right NOW in shorter than usual

☆ draw ALL portraits and outfits by the start of june (im about halfway there, the big one was william and I just took care of his last outfit ill show off in the next post because I really like it SQUEE)

This will have a wrench thrown in it though with DBD ptb tomorrow because im gonna actually start eating my hair and hands and leg off blood everywhere rocking back and forth in a circle but what can you do..

☆ finish all backgrounds by probably june 5th or so, the next day ill be tuning into summer game fest for PLEASE GOD bioshock news so I might take a break to draw my rapture citizens

the above does a lot for me already so after those 2 things are done im going to finish the script and take like 2 days to work on sound design and I have to invite a certain someone over to record lines from the complete script and ill be sending out what I need to anyone else,

and then. it's a matter of fucking cutscenes again but if I can stay up all night whenever I want this shouldn't be so bad and I need less because of what ive done wjth the sprites 🐾 I like working more with goals by day

☆ my other goal is finish the GUI stuff this month which is easy im almost done im working on the pause menu rn

Tomorrow I will turn evil though I hope i genuinely honest to god tweak out and be like AAAAHOOO THAT FUCKING GUY JUST THOUGHT ABOUT HIM.. I BETTER DRAW LIKE 50 YJINGSBFOR MY GAME RIGHT NEEOWWW because that happens a lot

I think remaking the sprite system was still one of the best decisions I ever made old vs new above

I still use those old sprites and Im really glad I made them because it helped me design outfits and important traits of each design but GODDDD

things are happening despite it all hello cassidy 🎂 she's been getting a lot of attention in my cutscene files recently ... forgot she was one of my top 4 characters absolute goat i hope she gets everything she wants
