Yet another version is about to drop today fairly soon that should fix stuff once and for all (at least I really hope so)
Sunken helped me with a much better verification system method that scans if you have FNaF installed on your PC from Steam. While the original verification will still be there, you will have a little text at the bottom of the screen that you can click which will lead you to the other verification method.
If this method will work better for you, you can make it the default one in settings. Stay tuned!!!
We are aware of the current problem with Steam verification system. We apologize for our mistake and we are going to release version 1.2 very very soon that will TRY to fix the issue and will also add a new setting to the settings page.
