YFIAP - v1.0

Adding one more update before the game jam closes. There is still time left to try the programming challenge that is #randomworld.

Changes!

  • Added new enemy! (he wont appear before lvl 10.)

  • Added more trophies.

  • Made a better script for the pit creation to fix overlaps & gaps.

  • Fixed a mistake I made with ceilings so they can get higher.

  • You can ‘beat’ the game now. The end gets a little farther each time you win. -Fair warning- there’s not much gratification. If you’re going for high score, keep going.

  • Hit-box on spikes is a little smaller.

  • Ghost speed/sight scales with the level.

  • Player light also scales with level, but in the opposite direction.

  • Guests can log scores now.

All criticism is welcome, but I have no future plans for the game so I’m calling it done. I may still make some updates, escpecially if I broke something along the way.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
